The New GMC Canyon AT4X Is the Toughest Canyon Yet

2023 GMC Canyon AT4X

The next generation GMC Canyon is coming to your GMC dealership, and it’s better than ever. The first-ever Canyon AT4X will arrive with the new generation with features and equipment that redefine what a mid-size off-road pickup truck can do. The new GMC Canyon AT4X is the toughest Canyon yet.

At Truck That Looks Like It Can Do Anything

This version of the Canyon will have a three-inch lift, giving it a total of 10.7 inches of ground clearance, and it has a 36.9-degree approach angle. The Canyon AT4X comes with heavy-duty steel skid plates, steel front and rear bumpers, and rock sliders. The front bumper will even accommodate a ComeUp winch if you want to add it. The AT4X’s long travel suspension makes it more capable of tackling rough terrain than other Canyons, and it’s the first Canyon to have Multimatic DSSV dampers.

Power That Delivers All the Performance

The Canyon AT4X will have the same powertrain as the rest of the lineup. It’s a new version of a 2.7-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that puts out 310 horsepower and generates 430 pound-feet of torque. When equipped, this truck can tow up to 5,500 pounds, even when you have to haul your gear over rough terrain.

The Interior is Just as Awesome as the Exterior

While the outside of the Canyon AT4X is impressive, the cabin is just as awesome. As soon as you sit down, you’ll notice how sporty and upscale it feels. The dashboard features textured plastics with carbon fiber accents and signature AT4X badging. White leatherette pieces and red accents stitching add to the overall look. There’s room for five in the cabin, and everyone sits on sport seats covered in perforated leather and accented with AT4X-embroidered badging. In front of the driver, there’s a fully digital instrument cluster and a multifunction steering wheel with several different control buttons integrated right in the wheel for easy access. See Everything on and Off the Trail

The Canyon AT4X has innovative features to increase its off-road capabilities. It offers up to 10 camera views, including GMC’s Surround Vision and front and rear underbody cameras to help provide an even better off-road experience. The underbody cameras even have a washing function to keep the lenses clear, so you don’t miss anything, and they are waterproof to protect when you drive through water or mud.

The Technology is Everything You Need

A new 11-inch fully digital driver information display and 11.3-inch diagonal infotainment touch screen come standard. The infotainment system comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and offers Google built-in. In addition to these, a 6.2 digital head-up display is available. To enhance your off-road experience even more, the Canyon AT4X has a new off-road performance display with real-time off-roading performance information in three different categories; Terrain, Baja, and Overlanding.
