What’s Under the Hood?

Under the hood of the 2024 Corolla GR, you’ll find a three-cylinder turbo engine tuned to deliver 300 horsepower. It comes with a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. In addition to the extra power, one of the big differences between the GR and the standard Corolla is the GR-Four system. This allows the driver to choose between four different driving distributions. The first is a 60/40 front-to-rear split, which is good for everyday driving. The Premium is up next with front and rear Torsen limited slip differentials, red-painted brake calipers, and fog lights.

The Circuit Edition is new for 2024. This trim adds 10-spoke 18-inch forged wheels, a forged carbon-fiber roof, and a high-mounted rear spoiler. In the front, there’s a bulged and vented hood, that not only adds to the look but adds to the performance, too.

Let’s Talk About the Interior

While Toyota dealers know that Corolla shoppers looking at the Corolla GR are all about the performance, what’s in the cabin is important, too. The Core has cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a digital gauge cluster, and the Premium adds a few creature comforts. It has heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. You’ll also get some extra tech in the Premium. It comes with wireless charging and an eight-speaker JBL stereo system.
