2024 Buick Envision: Striking a Strong Balance Between Mainstream and Luxury

2024 Buick Envision: Striking a Strong Balance Between Mainstream and Luxury

Buick SUVs do a masterful job of straddling the line between mainstream and luxury. The Buick Envision sits in the middle of the Buick SUV lineup.

What do you want in your SUV? If you’re looking for features and materials that are a step above the traditional mainstream model, you’ll be glad to step up to the Envision. The beauty of a Buick SUV is that it’s less expensive than a luxury SUV and a little pricier than the mainstream models. Let’s take a look and see what the Envision gives you when you get behind the wheel.

A common powertrain for all trims

Regardless of the trim level, you’ll have the same powertrain under the hood. Every Envision uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that makes 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission. This means all three trim levels include standard AWD to give you power and control on every road.

Is there anything new for the Envision?

This compact SUV receives a midcycle refresh for 2024. Some of the upgrades include a 30-inch display that houses the infotainment screen and digital gauge cluster. You’ll also find the new Active Safety Package 2, which gives you many new modern tech safety features. When you want to relax a little more on the highway, you’ll be pleased to know the Envision is available with the Super Cruise hands-free driving system.

What does each trim include?

There are three trims offered for the Buick Envision. This gives you three different ways to enjoy the packaging from a premium level SUV on up to one that comes extremely close to crossing the line into luxury territory. Let’s take a look at what each trim has for your driving experience.
