What We Know About the 2025 Kia Lineup So Far

It might be hard to believe, but 2025 model year vehicles are almost here, and when you head to Kia dealerships in the upcoming months, you’ll see a 2025 lineup that includes come familiar faces and some new models. Kia refreshed several fan favorites including the K5, the Carnival minivan, and the EV6.

What’s New with the 2025 Kia EV6

The first EV from Kia is getting an update for 2025. The EV6 will arrive with new headlights, new wheel options for the base and GT-Line level models, and a redesigned bumper. There are some updates inside the EV6 cabin, too. A 12-inch head-up display makes it easier than ever to see important information while you drive, and a fingerprint authentication system allows you to start the car without a key.

A Hybrid Kia Carnival

The Kia Carnival is a minivan with a style that doesn’t scream minivan. It’s loaded with tech and convenience features, and for 2025, it gets even better. Not only are there some exterior upgrades, including Kia’s Star Map LED running lights, and a redesigned front grille, but the cabin is comfier thanks to second-row seats that recline and have built-in footrests. But the big news for the Carnival is the new hybrid powertrain. It uses gas and electric power to generate 242 horsepower.

The All-New Kia K4

A brand-new face at Kia dealerships for 2025 is the Kia K4. This new sedan will replace the Forte but offer a sportier look and feel. The K4 will arrive with a fastback roofline inspired by the Stinger and have a base powertrain with 147 horsepower. A 190-horsepower turbo four-cylinder will also be available with the GT-Line Turbo trim. Inside, the K4 will feature a large infotainment screen, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a large driver information display.

An Updated 2025 Kia K5

The Kia K5 will receive its mid-cycle refresh in 2025. Kia’s new Star Map LED headlights will make their appearance and the new front bumper is designed to accommodate them. Inside, you’ll find even more updates to the K5. It now has two curved displays stretching across the dashboard with a 12-inch driver information display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will bring your phone screen to the infotainment system and over-the-air updates will ensure you always have the latest software.

A Hybrid Kia Sorento

The Kia Sorento gas-powered models received its update in 2024, but for 2025 the hybrid model is getting a refresh. It now has the same exterior features as the gas version, including new LED daytime running lights. Inside, it will now come with the two 12.3-inch screens we’re seeing in many of the other 2025 Kia models.
The power for the Sorento Hybrid comes from a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gas engine and an electric motor that’s paired with a 1.5-kWh battery. These all combine to generate 227 horsepower.
