2023 Polestar 2 Getting More Range and Power

What Did Polestar do to Upgrade this Car for 2023?

New vehicle software is part of the mix to give you a car that has increased range by 11 miles over the previous version. Polestar also adds a new heat pump to the mix in the Plus Pack to make sure the car can work in various temperatures. It’s well-known that electric cars often lose driving range in cooler and hotter climates. Allowing a vehicle to function in the broader temperature range means the battery capacity won’t be depleted as quickly.

New leather is part of the 2023 Polestar 2. This leather is called Bridge of Weir, and it’s available as part of the Plus package. This genuine leather replaces the textile and imitation leather found on lower trims. The 2023 model also adds front seat ventilation, a first for this brand.

Moving into the next model year, this car will offer drivers more power. This means you’ll have 476 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque which is an increase of 68 horsepower and 15 lb-ft of torque. We don’t know the improved acceleration of this car yet, but Polestar expects it to offer a sprint to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds or less with the Performance Pack.

The Single Motor version of the Polestar 2 offers 231 horsepower and up to 270 miles of driving range, while the Dual Motor version has 408 horsepower and 249 miles of driving.
