Several months ago, Dodge announced the next special version of the Dodge Challenger that will be offered. Now that the Demon is out of production and it was a seriously successful attempt at a special model, Dodge had decided to offer us a new version for the drive. This next model will be called the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye. This new Redeye model is built to allow you to make a lot of noise in your neighborhood and keep your neighbors up at night when you ride down the road.
The Redeye is Coming Off the Assembly Line
As the new version of the Dodge Challenger begins to roll off the assembly line at the Brampton Assembly Plant, we want to know more about the car that will give our neighbors more red eyes than in the past. This impressive car is one that takes the Hellcat and steps it up a notch, while not taking it all the way to the Demonic status we saw only a year ago with the Dodge ChallengerSRT Hellcat Demon. We’ve proved that we want more power, and Dodge is more than happy to oblige.
The Power Under the Hood of the Dodge Challenger Redeye
This new version of the Challenger makes use of a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine to produce an incredible level of power desired. The Redeye shows up with 797 horsepower and 707 lb.-ft. of torque. This makes it possible for the car to make its way to sixty mph in only 3.4 seconds and finish a quarter-mile run in only 10.8 seconds. When this amazing car reaches the end of the sprint, it will be traveling at 131 mph and if you continue to push the pedal down, you could reach a top speed of 203 mph.
Get Your Redeye Right Away
Do you want to drive the new Dodge Challenger Redeye? If so, you need to talk to the team at your nearby Dodge dealership. You can expect this car to be limited in numbers, much the same way the Demon was limited. While the price to drive this car is north of $70,000, the reality is, you won’t find another car on the market with this power level that comes to you at as affordable a price. If you want this much power, everything else you’ll see will cost you over $100,000.
What Will You do with Your Redeye?
The Dodge Challenger SRT Redeye is built to be a fast car on the track and one that you can enjoy on the road. This car has the power to take on everything else you see and finish with the checkered-flag waving, but it can also be the car you simply show off to your friends and family. Don’t be surprised if noise ordinances and violations are issued because of your new Redeye model, it’s simply the actions of those who can’t seem to appreciate automotive aggression.
