Plenty of Excitement for Ford EV Models

Ford Electric Lineup

If you’re interested in the newest electric vehicle technology, look no further than your local Ford dealer. With a wide arrange of hybrid and fully electric vehicles available, your favorite Ford dealer offers some of the most eco-friendly and powerful EVs on the market.

Not only does Ford already have several incredible EV models available today, but there are also plans to increase production. The Ford Motor Company plans to increase EV production to 600,000 units globally by 2023. This would make Ford the second-largest EV producer in the USA behind Tesla.

This doesn’t just mean more available units of already available vehicles but the creation of new models and options to meet the growing need for electric options. It’s a thrilling time to visit your local Ford dealer, and it’s only going to get more exciting.

Here are some of the most impressive EV options available at your local Ford Dealer:

Ford Mustang Mach-E

Ford Mach E

The Mustang Mach-E is one of the most luxurious and sophisticated EVs available today. This SUV is Ford’s first fully EV to go to market, and it’s made quite a splash. While some weren’t stoked to see this EV named after the sporty Mustang, it’s earned its name through its agility, speed, and enhanced interior.

This SUV comes with a standard 70 kWh batter or can be updated to a 91 kWh option. The two electric motors combine with the batter to produce 480 horsepower and 634 lb-ft of torque. That means this baby can go from zero to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. Depending on the battery pack you choose, you’ll be able to go between 211 and 305 miles on a single charge. You can keep all of your bars full with either a 120-v or 240-v outlet.

Ford F-150 Lightning

Drivers in the past worried that an electric vehicle would never have the performance and capability of a gas-powered truck. The new Ford F-150 Lightning puts these fears to rest. This electric truck shares a great deal with the regular Ford F-150 but replaced the gas engine with a potent electric motor.

The standard battery pack is expected to offer 230 miles of driving range per charge, while the extended range battery should go 300 miles before needing to plugin again. Where most drivers are excited is the 426 horsepower. Depending on your setup, you can even enjoy up to 775 lb-ft of torque. This truck is expected to tow up to 10,000 pounds with a max payload of 2,000 pounds.

The Ford E-Transit cargo van may not be on every driver’s wish list, but it’s a pretty impressive addition to the Ford lineup. This vehicle offers a plethora of cargo, crew, and passenger configurations. Drivers can choose between three different roof heights and three body lengths to get the transportation power they need.

The single electric motor that comes with the E-Transit is mounted under the floor. It produces a solid 266 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. It’s expected to get 126 miles of range on a single charge. What really makes this van stand out is its DC fast charger that can add 30 miles of range in just ten minutes.

Ford Explorer (Coming 2023)

Ford recently announced that it would be making an EV version of the popular Ford Explorer. This three-row SUV is a family favorite. There aren’t many details known about what this EV will look like, but it is producing quite a speculative conversation. Most people expect it to have similar performance stats as the Mach-E, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
